The provider sets the price
The rate on a profile is their own, and it is the rate you are charged. No quotes to chase.
Pay after the job
Your card details go in when you book. The charge only follows once the work is done.
No booking fee
Our commission comes out of the provider’s rate, never on top of what you pay.

Changes, cancellations and the receipt all live in one account, so there is a record of what was agreed.
Stripe handles the card
The card number is typed into Stripe’s own payment form and never reaches us or your provider.
How it works
You choose, they confirm, you pay after.
Search your postcode
Type your address and what you need. You get the providers who actually cover your door — not everyone within a radius of it, which is a different question and usually the wrong one.
Choose who does it
Every profile carries that provider’s own prices, their services and their reviews. You pick the person, they confirm the time, and the two of you can message about it here.
They come, then you pay
The card goes in when you book and the charge follows once the work is done. Changes, cancellations and the receipt all live in your account, so there is a record of what was agreed.
The money is secured first
When you book, the amount is held on your card rather than taken. It is only charged once the job is done, so nobody is out of pocket in either direction while it is waiting.

Your card details never reach us.
You add a card when you book and the charge follows once the job is done. Both go through Stripe, the payment processor that handles the money side of this platform. The number goes to them and stops there.
The card form belongs to Stripe
The boxes you type your card number into are served by Stripe, not by this website. The number goes straight to them.
We never hold the number
Stripe keeps the card and gives us a reference to it. Nobody here can read the full number, and nor can the person doing the work.
Certified at the top level
Stripe is certified as a PCI Service Provider Level 1 — the most demanding grade the card industry sets for a payment processor.
Your bank still gets a say
If it wants to check the payment is really you, it steps in with its usual 3-D Secure prompt. We do not route around it.
Card payments on Ta-done! are processed by Stripe, an independent payment processor.
